Here's my custom-built, fully adjustable T/C rods. Approx 17" in length, they will
run REARWARD like a 240Z. The leftmost piece in pic 1 is part of the original
510 T/C rod, the center piece is made from metal stock and is internally threaded
and the piece w/ the ball joint is from a Volvo Rack & pinion unit.

Picture 3 (above) These are ready for the weld that will make them two piece units

Picture 4(above). Both of these are a custom build. The top one runs from the firewall to the rack, and the bottom sits in the steering column. Note the aluminum bushing installed near the u-joint end on the bottom rod - a fabricated part on a fabricated part! The longer piece here is 510 (the spline end) and 240Z (from the funny bulge) piece welded together - and it's about 3" shorter overall than the stock 510 piece

A LOT of adjustability here (too much?)
Note the big center hole - to allow access for the adjustable Tokico strut. When the suspension is
loaded, the top of the adjuster actually comes above the plate height! Also the rim of the 510 strut
tower had to be flattened to allowe the innermost nut to slide freely - hence the orange paint which
was under the black.
