Dyno Chart Comparison

Here are 4 dyno runs. All are in early 510's. Multiply numbers below by .8 to get what the actual rear-wheel numbers were.

1) The VG30DE - DOHC 3.0L. Factory rating : 212hp
HORSEPOWER : 232 @ 6400rpm
TORQUE :213ft-lbs @ 4500rpm

Sara Lum's 510 : VG30DE, JWT ECU, custom intake, stock exhaust manifolds, glasspack & Flowmaster. Also 300ZX 5-speed and R160 3.7:1 LSD (Subaru).

2) The KA24E - SOHC 2.4L Factory rating : 140hp
HORSEPOWER : 154 @ 5250rpm
TORQUE :166ft-lbs @ 3000rpm

3) L22 (LZ22/L20B hybrid)SOHC 2.2L Factory rating : 115hp
HORSEPOWER : 130 @ 5250rpm
TORQUE :144ft-lbs @ 4000rpm.
DAMB cam, dual 38mm SU's, 2.25" exhaust, mild porting.

4) L20B - SOHC 2.0L Factory rating : 105hp
HORSEPOWER : 117 @ 4750rpm
TORQUE :148ft-lbs @ 3000rpm

Stock bore, 10,000 miles on rebuild. 9.8:1 compression ratio, measured 210PSI cylinder pressure on compression gauge. Mildly pocket ported "210" casting head, 42mm intake/35mm exaust valves, stock "U20" camshaft, L18 pistons, dual weber DCOE carbs with 30mm chokes. Electronic Ignition nissan factory distributer recurved for 18 deg initial advance, 35 deg total advance. Factory SSS L16 exaust manifold w/ custom lengthened 2-into-1 Y pipe to 2" exaust/turbo muffler
