The ultimate wheel stander [actual photo - wheelie is not doctored] In my neighborhood, I got tired of the Rice Boys making fun of me as I mowed my lawn. To get even, we dropped in a V6 into my Snapper mower - it's in the bagger section (the ultimate in stealth!) - Since I use a mulching blade, I don't need the bagger anymore. Here's my fearless friend Paul giving it the first test run. Performace is exceptional, with only a little wheelstanding evident at launch. We haven't G-Tech'ed it yet, but we're certain 0-60mph would be in the high sphincter-pucker range. As soon as we mount the mandatory roll bar and 5pt harness, we'll be sure to autocross it - with no extra charge for mowing any field in the area. So next time you're at a light next to a riding lawnmower - lookout! It just might be my "Snapper Wheelstander" - coming soon to a lawn near you. |
